The Most Popular Luxury Cars Today

Tesla Model 3

Tesla Model 3 became the best-selling luxury car in America the first year it went on sale. With its 5-door hatchback configuration, this electric car looks sleek and futuristic and is loaded with technology not seen on most other cars today. Overall, it’s excellent.

Lexus ES

It’s not as expensive as other luxury cars, but the Lexus ES delivers a superb combination of style and value. Powertrain options include a V6 or a hybrid. It’s available in Standard, Luxury, and Ultra Luxury trims, but if you want the F Sport version, you’ll have to go for the ES 350 model.

Mercedes-Benz C-Class

This classic luxury model is available as a coupe, convertible, and sedan. It’s powered by a turbocharged 4-cylinder, or a 6-cylinder, or an 8-cylinder engine. Standard models have the rear wheels powered while the AMG versions get the 4Matic all-wheel drive.

Mercedes-Benz E-Class

The E-Class is available as a coupe, convertible, sedan, and station wagon with two- or all-wheel drive and in several AMG versions. There’s also a long list of paint, upholstery, trim, and options to make the E-Class uniquely yours.

BMW 3 Series

This was once the most popular luxury car in America. It’s available as a sedan, 5-door Gran Turismo, and 5-door Sport Wagon with a turbo-4 and 6-cylinder engine powering rear or all wheels. And of course, there’s the legendary M3 performance version.

BMW 5 Series

This mid-size luxury sedan is available with a turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, 6-cylinder engine, 8-cylinder engine, and a plug-in hybrid version. The M5 is the performance version of this sedan.

Infiniti Q50

This is Infiniti’s entry-level sedan. It is powered by either a 4-cylinder or a 6-cylinder engine with rear-wheel or all-wheel drive. It is available in three luxury trim levels called Pure, Luxe, and Sport, and one performance-tuned trim called Red Sport 400 as well. There’s also a long list of options.

Audi A4

The Audi A4 is available as a sedan or a station wagon. The sedan has front-wheel drive as standard and all-wheel drive as an option. The station wagon, called the A4 Allroad, has AWD and a raised suspension setup. Engine options include a standard turbo-4 engine or a turbocharged V6.
